New Co-ed Sunday School Class
Ivy Bluff will offer a Co-ed Sunday School class for young parents and singles beginning Jan. 29. The class will meet at 8:45 every Sunday morning.

ABC to Air Nationwide broadcast of UMC Christmas Service
NASHVILLE, TENN. - ABC television affiliates nationwide will broadcast a United Methodist- produced Christmas Eve candlelight service on Dec. 24 and 25.
"We are privileged to open our doors, via television, to viewers who seek a Christmas Eve worship experience," said the Rev. Larry Hollon, chief executive of United Methodist Communications. "We celebrate this opportunity to express our faith within the broader culture."
The hour-long broadcast was taped at First United Methodist Church of Dallas, Texas.
Christmas
Ivy Bluff UMC has been beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. Advent Celebrations begin on Sun., Nov. 29. Adult Choir and children will present a Christmas Program on Dec. 13. The church prepares special Gift Baskets each Christmas. The church is collecting coins throughout the Christmas season - this money will be divided between the Cannon County Food Bank and an orphanage in Africa where a local mission worker will be visiting. The church has recently installed a new sound system and video capabilities that enhance the Worship Services.
